About the event
On June 26th, you are invited to a special evening Rapé & Cacao Ceremony in Basel — a powerful fusion of heart and earth medicine.
We will begin with a a traditional Rapé Ritual, led by a Colombian woman who has lived in the mountains of the Sierra Nevada, where she learned directly from Indigenous elders. Following this, we‘ll be guided through a shamanic Cacao Ceremony to open our hearts, enhance presence, and prepare the body for deeper connection.
What is Rapé?Rapé (pronounced ha-PAY) is a sacred tobacco-based snuff used in many Amazonian traditions. It is blown into the nostrils using a special pipe (tepi or kuripe), helping to clear energy, ground the mind, and connect to Spirit. It is not psychedelic, but it is deeply purifying and centering.
This is a ceremonial space — slow, intentional, and held with great care and respect.
