About

Nomad Cacao, founded in 2022, proudly support our quest to spread the transformative magic of cacao to all.

Our founder Zelal realized the amazing health benefits that cacao offers and began making her own cacao ceremonies to treat herself and her friends in 2019. In the year 2022, while living a nomadic lifestyle around the globe, she took it a step further and became a Cacaoista - a trained cacao ceremony guide. She began sharing her knowledge of the cacao and deepening her own knowledge.

Today, we work tirelessly toward the goal of helping others discover cacao as a means of healing and empowerment.

Cacao Ceremonies

Cacao ceremonies are a beautiful and soulful way to connect with oneself and others. The warm, comforting drink of cacao has been used in ancient cultures for centuries, and today it is still considered a powerful medicine for the mind, body, and spirit. In a cacao ceremony, people gather together in a safe and supportive space, sipping on the rich, delicious beverage and opening themselves up to its gentle healing properties. Participants often engage in guided meditations, movement practices, or other forms of mindful reflection, allowing them to deepen their connection to themselves and those around them. Whether you're new to cacao or have been a long-time devotee, a cacao ceremony is sure to leave you feeling nourished, calm, and connected. So why not gather some friends, brew up a pot of cacao, and let the magic unfold?

Fire Ceremonies

Fire ceremonies are a centuries-old tradition practiced in many cultures around the world. These rituals are often part of spiritual ceremonies that serve to strengthen interpersonal relationships and the relationship between people and nature. Fire ceremonies can look very different depending on the culture and the occasion, but they are usually marked by a deep respect for fire and its symbolic meaning. A fire is lit together, forming a bridge between heaven and earth. This creates an atmosphere of togetherness and spiritual connection that often stays with participants long after the ceremony is over. At Nomad Cacao, fire is honored and used as a transformer.
